Wendy Renee Conklin and Jeffery Loren Street were married Sept. 4, 2004, at Cape County Park. The Rev. Janet Hopkins performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie Conklin of Jackson and Glenda Davis of Chaffee, Mo. The groom is the son of Helen and Mike Leisemeyer of Dongola, Ill., and Loren and Barb Street of Joppa, Ill.
Maid of honor was Nicole Greable and bridesmaid was Sarah Meservey, both of Cape Girardeau.
The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsman was Lance Meservey of Cape Girardeau.
Candlelighters were mothers of the bride and groom.
Flower girl was Falynn Clow of Danville, Ill., niece of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the park. Julie Conklin attended the guest book, and Ray Conklin was server.
Mrs. Street is a graduate of Central High School, and completed the certified medication technician program at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She is employed at Missouri Veterans Home.
The groom attended Vienna High School. He is employed at Rubbermaid.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
