ORAN, Mo. -- Crystal Gail Cochran and Jeremy Martin Pobst were married Nov. 24, 2001, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Rev. John Harth performed the double ring ceremony. Music was by Dana Lynch of Oran and soloist was Christy Hency of Benton, Mo.
Parents of the couple are Coy and Duranda Cochran and Vernon and Susie Pobst, all of Oran.
Rebecca Cochran of Oran was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jodi Pobst, cousin of the groom; Lori Cato; Brittany Hanks, cousin of the bride, all of Cape Girardeau; Mistie Senciboy and Jill Pobst, sister of the groom, both of Oran.
Best man was Benji Urhahn of Oran. Groomsmen were Jason Proffer, Kevin Lappe, cousin of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau; Luke Wright of St. Charles, Mo., cousin of the groom; Josh and Jason Pobst of Oran, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Brandon Pobst of Oran, cousin of the groom; Craig Ward, cousin of the bride, and Lee Schlitt, both of Cape Girardeau.
Candlelighters were Leslie Guzman of Oran, cousin of the bride, and Julie Kimball of Chaffee.
Flower girls were Anna Pobst and Ali Hornback of Oran, nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Skyler Hanks, cousin of the bride. Anna is the daughter of Jason and Sabrina Pobst. Ali is the daughter of Jill Pobst and Jay Hornback. Skyler is the son of Tony and Jackie Hanks of Cape Girardeau.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Jeff Lappe, John Glueck, Gail Dirnberger and Jamie Eftink.
The rehearsal dinner was held Nov. 23 at Guardian Angel School cafeteria.
Mrs. Pobst is a 1998 graduate of Oran High School, and is pursuing a degree in early childhood education at Southeast Missouri State University. She is a contractor for the state of Missouri to teach Independent Living programs.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Oran High School. He is employed at BioKyowa Inc.
The couple is residing at Oran.
