Cedar DeLynn Cobble and Isaac Benjamin Flowers were married Oct. 12, 2002, at Calera Methodist Church in Calera, Okla. The Rev. David G. Ledford performed the ceremony. Music was by Billie Rodgers of Durant, Okla.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Allan Boyd of Bokchito, Okla., and Rick and Becky Cobble of Kaplan, La. The groom is the son of Diane and Howard Nix of Sherman, Texas, and the late Loren Flowers. Diane Nix is formerly of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Tamela Townsend of Calera, aunt of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christen Townsend of Calera, cousin of the bride, and Taylor Boyd of Bokchito, sister of the bride.
The groom chose his stepfather as best man. Groomsmen were the father and stepfather of the bride.
Flower girl was Cejay Townsend, daughter of Chris and Tamela Townsend and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Kylan Haddox, son of Christen Townsend and cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the church hall. Servers were Shanna Boyd and Sherlyn Boyd of Bokchito, cousin and aunt of the bride, respectively.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 11 at Chuck's BQ in Calera.
Mrs. Flowers is a 2001 graduate of Bokchito High School. She is employed at Tamela's Tiny Tots in Calera.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Sherman High School, and attended Grayson County College. He is a welder at Progressive Rail in Sherman.
A wedding trip is planned later.
The couple resides in Calera.
