Christina Joy Cobb and Jonathan David Anderson were united in marriage June 9, 2001, at Cape Bible Chapel. Chris Riser of Newhall, Calif., performed the double ring ceremony.
Pianist was Shane Steck and violinist was Mindy Hoffman, both of Cape Girardeau. Flutist was Judy Sharp, and guitarist was Ralph Sharp, both of Jackson, Mo. Sam Fletcher of Savannah, Ga., was soloist. Lauren Young of Cape Girardeau and Brad Berry of Jackson sang a duet. Other vocalists were Nicole Ray, Julie Roth and Aaron Roth, all of Cape Girardeau, Lindsey Osborne, Debbie Young and Andy Young, all of Jackson.
William and Paulette Cobb of Jackson are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Dave and Jan Anderson of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Melanie Cobb of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sheryl, Mallory and Shannon Cobb, all of Jackson and sisters of the bride; Jessica Bonura of Bakersfield, Calif., sister of the groom; Scarlett Cook of Jackson; Kristin Hartness of Rogers, Ark.; Katie Singleton of Grapevine, Texas; and Jen Washburn of Lewes, Del.
Sam Fletcher served the groom as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Joseph Bonura of Bakersfield, brother-in-law of the groom; Mark Scarborough of Grapevine; Brian Gullette, Greg Miller, Jeff Miller and Ben Scarborough, all of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls were McKenzie and Ashtyn Cobb, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cobb of South Dakota and nieces of the bride.
Candlelighters were Sandy Black and Cynthia Hazelwood of Jackson, Sari Dolence and Debbie Scarborough of Cape Girardeau, Doreen Whitaker of Millersville, Mo., and Alisa Riser of Newhall.
Natalie McCormack of Cape Girardeau and Lindsey Osborne attended the guest book. Assisting with programs and gifts were Cindy Fletcher of Savannah, Sarah Coleman and Suzanne Fredenburg of Jackson, and Jessica Gardner of Cape Girardeau.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the church family center.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 8 at Drury Lodge.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a Bible certificate from Columbia International University in Columbia, S.C., in 1999, and is pursuing a degree in education at Southeast Missouri State University.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Central High School. He is pursuing a degree in education at Southeast University.
After a wedding trip to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
