Clover-Hill

ANNA, Ill. -- Shelly Clover and Jeff Hill were married June 17, 2006, at Von Jakob Vineyard in Alto Pass, Ill. Jerry Ellis, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony. A reading was given by Tina Jarrett of Murphysboro, Ill. Vocalist was Brenda Allen of Dayton, Ohio, cousin of the bride. Music was by Chautauqua String Ensemble.

The bride is the daughter of Sondra Clover of Grand Tower, Ill., and the late Mike Clover. The groom is the son of Mabel Hill of Anna, and the late Rollie Hill.

Maid of honor was Becky Glodo of McClure, Ill., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tamra Riley of Harvest, Ala., Kim Keene of Anna, Suzanne Schoen-Harju of Carbondale, Ill., and Candice Goins of Wolf Lake, Ill. Junior bride was Katelyn Glodo, niece of the bride.

Todd Hill of Anna served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Dave and Rob Hill of Anna, brothers of the groom; Austin Meade of Dongola, Ill., cousin of the groom; and Mark Willmann of Anna. Ushers were John Clover of Jonesboro, Ill., uncle of the bride, and Terry Glodo of McClure, brother-in-law of the bride.

Candlelighters were Geri and Taylor Ellis, cousins of the bride.

Flower girls were Sydnee McFarland and Brittany Hill, nieces of the groom; and Molly and Kayleigh Ellis, cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Jake Ellis, cousin of the bride.

Amy Reynolds was guest book and gift attendant. Sharon Smith of Doniphan, Mo., aunt of the bride, handed out programs. Rolla McFarland, sister of the groom, was rose petal attendant.

A dinner and dance reception was held in the vineyard ballroom.

The couple hosted the rehearsal dinner at the vineyard.

Mrs. Hill is a graduate of Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake, Southeast Missouri State University, and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She is principal at Shawnee Elementary North in Grand Tower, and assistant superintendent at Shawnee Community Unit District 82 in Wolf Lake.

The groom is a graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. He is employed with Ironworkers Union Local 782 in Paducah, Ky.

After a wedding trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Anna.
