Courtney Lee Clabaugh and William Michael O'Shea Jr. were married April 17, 2004, in an outdoor setting at historic Congress Hall in Cape May, N.J. Mayor Jerome Inderweis performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are David and DeeAnna Clabaugh of Jackson, and William and Elaine O'Shea of Cape May.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Dr. Amy Lingle, formerly of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Shell Azar of New York City, Cristina Bonaca of Washington, D.C., and Amy Clabaugh of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride.
Matt O'Shea, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were John Merlino of Washington, D.C., Bill McQuillen of Oakland, N.J., and Matt Clabaugh of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Ushers were Michael Montenegro of Copenhagen, Denmark, Marc Pekala of Washington, D.C., David Kwederis of Jersey City, N.J., and David Morton of Washington, D.C.
Guest book attendants were Julie McDowell and Nicole Dueffert of Washington, D.C.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and reception was held in the ballroom of Congress Hall. The bride's parents hosted a reception at a later date at their home. Server was Stephanie Young of St. Louis.
Mrs. O'Shea is a 1989 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor's degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1993. She is a legislative adviser to the law firm of Sullivan and Worcester LLP in Washington, D.C.
The groom is a 1986 graduate of Indian Hills High School in Oakland, and received a bachelor's degree in government from the American University of Washington, D.C., in 1991. He is vice president/general manager of Millennium Sales and Marketing's office in Washington, D.C.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Washington, D.C.
