Sarah Louise Catrino and Tyler Herrick Cuba were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony during a Nuptial Mass on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Old Saint Vincent's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Patrick McDevitt served as the celebrant.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bo Catrino of Sikeston, Missouri. She is the granddaughter of Mary Cauble Hale and the late Robert Hale of Sikeston, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Catrino of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cuba of Cape Girardeau. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Rhoads of Sedalia, Missouri, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cuba of St. Louis.
Music for the ceremony was provided by the Notre Dame Concert Choir, led by Ellen Seyer, and vocal soloist Casie Mills, organist Lenny Kuper and orchestra Trio Girardeaux, all of Cape Girardeau. Brother David Migliorino of Cape Girardeau read the scriptures.
Presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a custom gown created by St. Louis designer Constance Simpson. The gown dawned a full A-line dupioni silk skirt in blush champagne. The Italian lace bodice featured a bateau neckline and was accented with pearl and Swarovski crystal embellished lace sleeves. She wore a cathedral-length veil made of silk tulle and carried a bouquet of creamy white roses and gardenias.
Mary Catherine Catrino Kohlfeld of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride, served as the First Lady. Allison Bode Reichert of Grand Chain, Illinois, served as matron of honor and Madeline Story of St. Louis served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Ford LaBruyere and Destiny Dirnberger Daraban of Kansas City, Missouri; Emily Hiett Alley of Rochester, Minnesota; Brenna Green Buchheit of St. Louis; Brittany Bollinger Limbaugh of Jackson; and Casey Cuba, sister of the groom, of Nashville, Tennessee. The bridesmaids wore floor-length silk taffeta gowns in champagne.
The groom chose Dustin Haupt of Chicago as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Cuba of St. Louis, brother of the groom; Courtland Kohlfeld, brother-in-law of the bride; and Paul Unterreiner, Mark Rubel and Matthew Pobst, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Garrett Holzum of Columbia, Missouri; Andrew Arnzen of St. Louis; and Mark Hagedorn and Blake Hagedorn of Cape Girardeau.
Mary Clare Kohlfeld, niece of the bride, served as the flower girl and Trey Ingenbohs, cousin of the groom, served as the ring bearer.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Venue's Grand Ballroom in Cape Girardeau. Fresh floral arrangements were a combination of ivory hydrangeas and creamy white roses accented with flat seeded eucalyptus and magnolia. Following dinner, the Bob Kuban Band of St. Louis provided entertainment.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents on Oct. 9 at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
Sarah is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in communications from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by Red Letter Communications in Cape Girardeau.
Tyler is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Saint Louis University. He is a partner at Cuba Financial Group in Cape Girardeau.
