Canupp - Walters

Kathryn Michelle Canupp and Michael Oscar Walters Jr. exchanged wedding vows Oct. 23, 2010, at The Thaxton in St. Louis. The Rev. Daniel Loesch performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Judith Canupp of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Michael O. Walters Sr. of DeSoto, Mo., and Ann and Tom Herides of St. Louis.

Bridesmaid was Laura Canupp of Washington, Mo., sister of the bride.

Brian Bivens of St. Louis was best man.

Flower girl was Avery Bengtson and ringbearer was Colten Fisher, niece and nephew of the groom. Avery is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shane Bengtson, and Colten is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Dion Fisher, all of St. Louis.

The reception was held at The Thaxton.

Mrs. Walters is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University, and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration. She is a legal assistant with Safety National Casualty Corp. in St. Louis.

The groom is a graduate of Fox High School and Jefferson Community College. He is manager at Batteries Plus in St. Peters, Mo.

The couple is residing in St. Louis.
