Katie Ann Canfield and Jonathan Edward Vandrell were united in marriage Feb. 17, 2007, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo. The Rev. Joe Sharbel performed the ceremony. Soloist was April Brinkoetter of Kansas City.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Kathy Buehrle of Hopkinsville, Ky., and the late Guy Harper of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Denise and Terry Rigdon of Tulsa, Okla., and Jim and Linda Vandrell of Blue Springs, Mo.
Maid of honor was Kelli Canfield of Kansas City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lauren Baer of Kansas City; Andrea Terry of Broken Arrow, Okla., sister of the groom; Katie Robson of St. Peters, Mo.; Jessica Mathews of O'Fallon, Mo.; and Jenny Canfield of High Ridge, Mo.
Charles Skaggs of Tulsa and Ryan Crum of Kansas City, cousin of the groom, were best men. Groomsmen were Brian Moon, Larry Brice, Joe Hoffman and Tony Ponce de Leon, all of Tulsa. Ushers were Jason Crum of Raytown, Mo., cousin of the groom; Josh Terry of Broken Arrow, brother-in-law of the groom; and Aaron McDaniel of Tulsa.
Flower girl was Belle Buehrle, daughter of Jeff and Susy Buehrle of Huntsville, Ala., niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Brenden Vandrell-Terry, son of Josh and Andrea Terry and nephew of the groom.
The reception was held at the Clubhouse on Baltimore.
The groom's mother and stepfather hosted the rehearsal dinner Feb. 16 at Grand Street Cafe.
Mrs. Vandrell is a 2001 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a degree in broadcasting from Central Missouri State University in 2005.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Union High School. He received a degree in marketing and business management from Oklahoma State University in 2001, and a master's degree in international studies in 2003. He is employed with Bourbon.
The couple resides in Marseille, France.
