Canady-Knaup

Amy Nicole Canady and Thomas Bosco Knaup were united in marriage Aug. 12, 2006, at St. Mary's Cathedral. Celebrant was the Rev. Patrick Nwokoye, and con-celebrants were the Rev. Thomas Kiefer and Monsignor Richard Rolwing. Eucharistic ministers were Marla Kunz and Karen Rife, sisters of the groom, and Ann Knaup, aunt of the groom.

Cantor was Kathy McClain of Cape Girardeau. Lectors were John Landewee, brother-in-law of the groom; Allison Knaup, cousin of the groom; and Carol Morrow. Mass servers were Mary Beth Rife and Anna Knaup, nieces of the groom. Giftbearers were the bride and groom.

Organist was Leann Hendricks, and vocalist was Mike Renick. String music was provided by Trio Girardeaux.

The bride is the daughter of Doyle and Cindy Canady of Morley, Mo. The groom is the son of Carla Jo Knaup and the late Richard J. Knaup.

Matron of honor was Amy Banken of Oak Ridge. Bridesmaids were Shelly Almond of Morley, Ana Jackovic of Sikeston, Mo.; Kathryn Landewee of Cape Girardeau and Lucy Knaup of St. Louis, sisters of the groom; Jennifer Heuring of Cape Girardeau, niece of the groom; Kimberly Keser and Amanda Morrow of Jackson.

Dr. Keith Cooper of Perryville, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Knaup of St. Louis, nephew of the groom; Heath Irlbeck of Riverside, Calif.; Mark Beyatte of St. Louis; Eric Greaser of New York, N.Y.; Keith Heuring of Cape Girardeau, nephew in-law of the groom; Jeff Thurman of Jackson; and Joseph Knaup of Jefferson City, Mo., nephew of the groom. Ushers were Richard Knaup Jr. of Jackson and James Knaup of Jefferson City, brothers of the groom; Todd Knaup, cousin of the groom, and Keith Essner, both of Cape Girardeau.

Miniature brides were Hailey Haynes and Madeline Hamm, daughters of the bride.

Candlelighters were Theresa and Elizabeth Kunz of St. Louis, nieces of the groom.

Flower girls were Claire Landewee, niece of the groom, and Halle Heuring, great-niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Vincent Landewee, nephew of the groom. Claire and Vincent are children of John and Kathryn Landewee. Halle is the daughter of Keith and Jennifer Heuring.

Kristy Thurman of Jackson was guest book and program attendant.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Bavarian Halle in Jackson.

The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 11 at Bella Italia.

Mrs. Knaup is a 1996 graduate of Scott County Central High School. She is a teacher at Cape Girardeau Montessori School.

The groom is a 1988 graduate of Notre Dame High School, and received a degree in mass communication. He is employed at AGamers.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
