SIKESTON, Mo. -- Jaime Vaness Bustos and Kenneth D. Merideth exchanged vows Nov. 9, 2002, at Sacred Heart Chapel of Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Michael Horan. Music was by Canzona String Trio, under the direction of Doris Norton and Mary De la Garza.
Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Bustos of San Antonio are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mary Merideth of Sikeston and Kenneth Merideth of Essex, Mo.
The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents.
Matron of honor was Denise Madrid of Houston, Texas, and maid of honor was Brittany Bustos of San Antonio, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Melissa Diebel, Taffany Garza, Valerie Salido and Laura Garcia, all of San Antonio, and Rachel Pape of Houston. Junior bridesmaid was Lauren Teachout of Sikeston.
Roy Merideth of Cape Girardeau served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Lorei of Orlando, Fla., Wayne Kennedy of Sarasota, Fla., Shawn Merideth of Olathe, Kan., Shannon Merideth of Springfield, Mo., Michael Carson, and Mario Madrid, brother-in-law of the bride, both of Houston. Ushers were Sean White, Xavier Silva, Christopher Garcia and Levi Loya, all of San Antonio.
Flower girls were Angelica and Robin Lopez, cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Zachary White, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at St. Anthony Hotel.
The rehearsal dinner was held Nov. 8 at The Mexican Manhattan.
Mrs. Merideth attended Incarnate Word High School in San Antonio, and the University of Houston. She is a power scheduler at Calpine Energy Services in Houston.
The groom attended Sikeston High School, and Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. He is an options trader at Entergy-Koch Trading in Houston.
After a wedding trip to Parrot Cay of the Turks and Caicos Islands, the couple is residing in Houston.
