NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Lyndsey Meredith Burger and Justin Gregory Mosby were married Aug. 4, 2001, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Hope Essner of Kelso, Mo., and soloists were Fred and Tina Higdon of New Hamburg. Reader was Stephanie Burger, aunt of the bride. Mass servers were Major, Paris and Mark Burger, cousins of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Danny and Pat Burger of New Hamburg. The groom is the son of Greg and Lisa Mosby of McClure, Ill.

Maid of honor was Vanessa Burger of Benton, Mo., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Heather Burger, cousin of the bride; Michelle Essner and Leonna Essner, all of New Hamburg; Andee Heisserer of Oran, Mo.; and Tara Mosby of McClure, sister of the groom.

Burton Doss of Jackson, Miss., served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Mosby of Houston, Texas, cousin of the groom; Blake and Matt Burger of New Hamburg, brothers of the bride; Chad Miller of South Carolina, cousin of the groom; and Greg Kennard of St. Louis. Ushers were Sean and Patrick Mosby of Houston, cousins of the groom, and Brett Burger of New Hamburg, cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Suzanne Uhrhan of Benton and Kim Riley of Blodgett, Mo.

Flower girl was Jacqueline Winder, daughter of Mark and Kelly Winder of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Ringbearers were Justin and Dustin Deen, sons of Jodi Margrabe of Sikeston, cousins and godchildren of the bride.

Program attendants were Kristi Burger of New Hamburg, sister-in-law of the bride, and Allison Burger of Benton, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance was held at Scott City Knights of Columbus Hall.

The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 at the parish center.

The bride is a registered nurse and is employed at Orthopaedic Associates.

The groom is a self-employed farmer.

The couple resides in McClure.
