Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson was the setting Sept. 13, 2003, for the wedding of Jill Ann Burchyett and Thomas Leon Frey. The Rev. Mike Parry performed the ceremony. Music was by Trio Girardeaux.

The bride is the daughter of Lois Burgess of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Rosemary and Thomas Whittard of Cape Girardeau and Joseph Frey of Millington, Tenn.

The bride was escorted by her son, Jacob Burchyett.

Bridesmaids were Rachel and Emmalea Burchyett, daughters of the bride.

Jacob Burchyett was also best man.

Following the ceremony, an outdoor reception was held on the church grounds.

The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 12 at O'Charley's Restaurant in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Frey received a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness and horticulture from Southeast Missouri State University. She is district sales manager with A.P. Merchandising.

The groom is a graduate of Central High School. He is sales manager with Wieser Hyundai.

The couple resides in Jackson.
