BUCHANAN-WESTRICH

Anna Katherine Jean Buchanan and Karl Joseph Westrich exchanged vows Sept. 11, 1999, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan performed the double ring ceremony. Flutist was Paul Thompson and pianist was Lenny Kuper, both of Cape Girardeau. Soloist was Rhonda King of Dexter, aunt of the bride. A trio comprised of Sandra Bollinger of Benton, sister of the groom; Kelly Baker and Jackie Huls of Sikeston, also sang.

The bride is the daughter of Fran Buchanan of Cape Girardeau and Dwight Buchanan of Scott City. The groom is the son of Joseph and Theresa Westrich of Chaffee.

Matron of honor was Shannon Barrett of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Vicky Buchanan of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride; Natalie Metcalf of Dexter, cousin of the bride; Camille Bollinger of Benton, niece of the groom; and Dalena Mullins of Cape Girardeau.

John Simmons of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Tom Ramsey of Cape Girardeau; Howie Bollinger of Benton, brother-in-law of the groom; Kevin Gross of Cape Girardeau; and Bert Jones of Jackson. Ushers were Brian Brown of Cape Girardeau; Rodney Buchanan of Cape Girardeau and Scott Buchanan of Clayton, brothers of the bride.

Flower girl was Summer Burger, daughter of Russell and Stephanie Burger of New Hamburg and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Dalton Buchanan, son of Rodney and Vicky Buchanan and nephew of the bride.

Candlelighters were Kristain Burger and Brenna Green. Kristain is the daughter of Russell and Stephanie Burger and niece of the groom. Brenna is the daughter of Ricky and Lana Green and cousin of the groom.

Terri Brown of Cape Girardeau attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner was held at Jade Chinese Restaurant. A dance was held later at Knights of Columbus Hall in Kelso. Servers were Anna Glastetter, aunt of the groom, and Nancy Crook, both of Benton.

Mrs. Westrich is a 1988 graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is a bookkeeper at Nephrology Associates.

The groom is a 1977 graduate of Kelly High School. He is a carpenter with Local 1770.

The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
