Susan Anne Knaup Brown and Victor John Dirnberger were married Feb. 22, 2003, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony. Organist was Dana Lynch of Oran, and vocalists were Randy Elfrink of Oran and Wayne Elfrink of Chaffee, Mo.

Parents of the couple are John and Ann Knaup of Jackson, and Paul and Frances Dirnberger Sr. of Oran.

Matron of honor was Tammy Dirnberger of Jackson, sister-in-law of the groom.

Paul Dirnberger Jr. of Jackson was his brother's best man. Ushers were Phillip Dirnberger of Oran, brother of the groom, and Todd Knaup of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride.

Candlelighters were Amy Knaup of Washington, D.C., sister of the bride, and Pat Reed of Jackson.

Flower girl was Erica Brown, daughter of the bride. Ringbearer was Andrew Moore, son of Steve and Sandy Moore of St. Mary, Mo., and nephew of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at St. Lawrence Parish Hall in New Hamburg, Mo.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Feb. 21 at the home of the groom.

Mrs. Dirnberger is a 1983 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau, and a 1987 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a teacher's assistant at Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Jackson.

The groom is a 1985 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School at Benton, Mo., and a 1986 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, Tenn. He is a mechanic at Wiese Planning and Engineering Inc. in Sikeston, Mo.

The couple resides in Oran.
