Stella Rosalie Brown and Michael David Ziegler were united in marriage Jan. 20, 2008, at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Memphis, Tenn. The Rev. Valentine Handwerker performed the ceremony. Cantor was Lauren Scianni of Memphis. The Cathedral Choir sang, directed by Sister Maureen Griner of Memphis. Organist was Barbara Goldsmith of Bartlett, Tenn.
The bride is the daughter of John and Rosalie Brown of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of David and Sharon Ziegler of Brentwood, Tenn.
Matron of honor was Chrisie Hahs of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cassie Hahs of Cape Girardeau, niece of the bride, and Allison Ziegler of Brentwood, sister of the groom.
Alan Hunting of Moscow, Tenn., cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Hunt, cousin of the groom, and Scott Harrison, both of Memphis.
Flower girl was Samantha Hunting of Moscow, cousin of the groom, and ringbearer was Kaylee Roberson of Murray, Ky., cousin of the bride. Samantha is the daughter of Alan and Melanie Hunting. Kaylee is the daughter of Marvin Roberson and Robyn Sachse.

The reception was held at the church.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 18 at Jim's Place East in Memphis.
Mrs. Ziegler received a bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary/graphic design from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a freelance graphic artist.
The groom received a master's degree in Catholic life and thought from Saint Meinrad School of Theology. He is a secretary for worship and spiritual life with the Catholic Diocese of Memphis.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Memphis.
