Kristin Marie Riley and Anthony James Riley were married July 29, 2006, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Charlie Prost performed the ceremony. Organist was Lenny Kuper, soloist was Mike Renick, and string music was provided by Trio Girardeaux, all of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Jeanie Branum of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Krystal Phillips of St. Louis and Jim and Michaele Riley of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Alisa Haertling of Garner, N.C., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelli Hamm of Jackson, Liz Thomas of Olathe, Kan., Danielle Parker of St. Louis, Jennifer O'Rourke of Charleston, Mo., and Jessica Sprouse of Columbia.
Todd Bono of Kansas City, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Justin Foley of Dallas, Ga.; Tom Phillips of St. Louis, uncle of the groom; Cory Elfrink of Honolulu, Hawaii; Andrew Essner of Cape Girardeau; and Dave Zarrilli of St. Louis. Ushers were Brad Haertling of Garner, brother-in-law of the bride, and Kevin Boody of Oakton, Va.
Candlelighters were Hannah and Alyson Phillips of St. Louis, sisters of the groom.
Flower girl was Katherine Morton, daughter of Eric and Kelly Morton of Cape Girardeau. Ringbearer was Luke Riley, brother of the groom.
Amy Stallings of Cape Girardeau attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Starla Miller of Scott City and Paige Norman of Judsonia, Ark.
The reception was held at the VFW Hall.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 28 at Port Cape.
Mrs. Riley is a graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003, and is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in nursing at Southeast. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom is a graduate of Notre Dame High School, and served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in biology at Southeast. He is employed at Southeast Hospital.
After a wedding trip to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
