Amanda Renee Beussink and Jeremy William Balsman were married June 21, 2003, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz performed the ceremony. Organist was Nicole Poythress and soloist was Karen Benefield, both of Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Todd and Mary Beussink of Jackson. The groom is the son of Jerry and Diana Balsman of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Rebekah Stevens of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Kelly Larkin, Kristy Biri, Cassi Dameron and Sarah Schlick, all of Jackson.

Nathan Windeknecht of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Beussink, brother of the bride; Brent Balsman, brother of the groom; Zach Fulenwider and Doug Carey, all of Jackson. Ushers were Nick Essner, cousin of the bride, and Bryan West, cousin of the groom.

Candlelighters were Sarah Essner of Austin, Texas, and Beth Penfield of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bride.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Taylor and Tristen Randol of Jackson.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Diane Shipman, aunt of the bride, and Doris Rehkop, aunt of the groom.

The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 20 at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Mrs. Balsman is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. She is a chiropractic assistant to Dr. Phillip Pappas in Jackson.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Missouri Valley College in 2003. He is a community resource officer at the Cape Girardeau County Juvenile Center.

The couple resides in Jackson.
