Kerri Elizabeth Baber and Douglas Wilson Cook were married Sept. 5, 2004, at Deerfield Lodge. Fred Poston performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Margaret Baber of Cape Girardeau, and David and Marsha Baber of Scott City. The groom is the son of Glen and Mary Ellen Cook of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Leslie Peterson of Copperas Cove, Texas. Bridesmaids were Rachel Cook of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Melissa Newman and Nada Tindall of St. Louis, and Natalie Brown of Elkhart, Ind.

Greg Cook of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Amir Chaudhari of Cape Girardeau, Jason Myer of Kansas City, Mo., Lance Daugherty of Jefferson City, Mo., and Michael Holt of Burbank, Calif. Ushers were Jason Baber of Jacksonville, Fla., and Josh Baber of Scott City, brothers of the bride.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Alexis and Jonathan Baber of Jacksonville, niece and nephew of the bride.

Melinda Hilterbrand and Marsha Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, aunts of the bride, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Deerfield. Servers were Rita Fisher of Jackson, aunt and godmother of the groom; Brenda Legrand of Cape Girardeau and Anna Hellman of Memphis, Tenn., aunts of the groom.

The rehearsal dinner was held Sept. 4, hosted by Tim and Rita Fisher.

Mrs. Cook is employed at Muto-Little Inc. in Los Angeles, Calif.

The groom is employed at Pacific BMW in Glendale, Calif.

After a wedding trip to New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts, the couple is residing in Burbank, Calif.
