Trinity Lutheran Church was the setting Oct. 16, 2004, for the wedding of Kelly Aufdenberg and Tony Swain. The Rev. Douglas Breite performed the ceremony. Organist was Dottie Myer.
The bride is the daughter of Lisa Hahn of Jackson. The groom is the son of Mike and Alice Swain and Jane Swain, all of Chaffee, Mo.
Matron of honor was the bride's mother. Bridesmaids were Gina Aufdenberg of Jackson, cousin of the bride; Lindsey Battles of Cape Girardeau; Ashley Bergstrom of Scott City; and Dana McGill of Cape Girardeau, stepsister of the bride.
Richie Swain of Cape Girardeau was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Marty Moore of Biloxi, Miss.; Roger Blue of Chaffee; Robert Penrose of Cape Girardeau; and Dustin McGill, stepbrother of the bride. Ushers were Lynn Aufdenberg, great-uncle of the bride, and Patrick McGill, stepfather of the bride, both of Jackson.
Junior bride and groom were Anna Aufdenberg and Cody Trankler. Anna is the daughter of Paul and Cynthia Aufdenberg of Red Oak, Iowa, and cousin of the bride. Cody is the son of Janice Trankler of Oran, Mo., and cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Elizabeth and Rebekah Nanney, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Nanney of Jackson.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Allison Aufdenberg and Austin Aufdenberg, cousins of the bride. Allison is the daughter of Paul and Cynthia Aufdenberg. Austin is the son of Travis and Lori Aufdenberg of Jackson.
Guest book attendants were Lori Aufdenberg and Penny Smith. Programs were handed out by Courtney and Becky Aufdenberg.
The reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Jackson. Servers were Margaret, Cynthia and Beth Aufdenberg.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 15 at Grecian Steak House.
Mrs. Swain is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University and Three Rivers Community College. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Chaffee High School. He is employed by McGill Marketing Group.
The couple is residing in Jackson.
