Emilee Alison Atchley and Matthew Ian Godsey exchanged vows June 9, 2007, in Cape Girardeau. Tommy Miller performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are James and Freda Atchley and John and Rhonda Godsey, all of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Ashley Godsey of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.
Joshua Browning of Lawrenceville, Ill., was best man. Ushers were Jerime Atchley, brother of the bride, Ian Godsey, brother of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau, and Lee Vann of Atlanta, Ga., brother of the bride.
Flower girl was Logan Atchley and ringbearers were Austin and Peyton Atchley, daughter and sons of Jerime Atchley.
The reception was held immediately following the ceremony.
The rehearsal dinner was held June 8 in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Godsey received a bachelor of science degree in child development in 2003, and is pursuing a master's degree in elementary school counseling. She is employed by Educare.
The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in business administration in 2004. He is employed by Merck Pharmaceuticals.
After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
