CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Monica Amy Fe Limjoco Alunday and Tyler Devon Meyr were married Aug. 24, 2013, at the East Overlook of Art Hill in Forest Park in St. Louis. The Rev. Jeff Fox performed the ceremony. Music was by members of the Soulard Blues Band of St. Louis.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Arthur and Ana Alunday of Greensburg, Ind. The groom is the son of Larry and Judi Meyr of Chaffee.
Matron of honor was Natalie Geier of Indianapolis, Ind. Bridesmaids were Deanna Alunday of St. Louis, sister-in-law of the bride; Daphne DiFranco of New York, N.Y., cousin of the bride; Brandi Meyr of Jackson and Staci Meyr of Phoenix, Ariz., sisters-in-law of the groom.
Casey Nolen of St. Louis was best man. Groomsmen were Trae Meyr of Phoenix and Tory Meyr of Jackson, brothers of the groom; Dr. Robert Alunday of St. Louis, brother of the bride; and Tom Hussey of Chicago. Ushers were Ryan Favier, Christopher Chung, Derek Prior and Benjamin Johnson, all of St. Louis.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Emily and Charlie Alunday, niece and nephew of the bride. They are children of Robert and Deanna Alunday.
The reception was held at the St. Louis Art Museum.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 23 at Scape Restaurant in St. Louis.
Mrs. Meyr received a bachelor of fine arts from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, with a degree in dance and emphasis in ballet. She is employed by Modern American Dance Co. in St. Louis.
The groom received a bachelor of fine arts and master of architecture from Tulane University in New Orleans, and a master of architecture in urban design from Harvard University in Boston, Mass. He is an associate principal at Forum Studio Inc. in St. Louis.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
