LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Rachel Marie Allen and David Anthony Brown were married June 10, 2006, at Harmony Church. Joe Allen of Leopold, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Barbara Allen of Leopold, and Kenneth and Mary Jane Brown of Marble Hill, Mo.

Matron of honor was Rebecca Lester of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amber Sawyer of Cape Girardeau, Cassie Nenninger of Leopold, and Jennifer Long of Marble Hill.

Gary Brown of Thebes, Ill., was best man. Groomsmen were Dean Brown of Jackson and Chris Brown of Leopold, brothers of the groom; and Nathan Allen of Marble Hill, brother of the bride. Ushers were Timothy Allen of Leopold, brother of the bride, and Gabe Seabaugh of Chaffee, Mo., cousin of the groom.

Candlelighters were Hillary Nance and Skyler Allen, nieces of the bride. Hillary is the daughter of Timothy and Jill Allen, and Skyler is the daughter of Nathan and Kelli Allen.

Flower girl was Alexys Allen, daughter of Nathan and Kelli Allen and niece of the bride. Ringbearers were Wyatt Allen and Layne Allen, nephews of the bride. Wyatt is the son of Timothy and Jill Allen, and Layne is the son of Nathan and Kelli Allen.

Michelle Brown of Thebes attended the guest book.

Mrs. Brown is a 2005 graduate of Woodland High School, and is attending Mineral Area College. She is employed at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. He is a partner in Allen-Siding Construction.

The couple resides in Whitewater.
