Destiny Matysik, of Cape, turned 9 and wanted a big birthday party. She decided to have it as a fundraiser instead of gifts. After deciding the charities she wanted to help, Bootheel Harley-Davidson sponsored her birthday with a live band, bounce house and other fun stuff. Guests brought a can of food (for the food bank), a travel size personal hygiene item (for kids at Beacon Health), and an old worn down pair of shoes to turn into water for 3rd world countries. She collected 101 lbs of cans, 100 hygiene items and 53 pairs of shoes.
