First Presbyterian Church in Jackson will host the 2014 World Day of Prayer at 1:00pm on Friday March 7th. A program prepared by Egyptian Christian women, applies the meaning of the Samaritan woman's contact with Jesus at the well to cooperation between young people of different faiths during Arab Spring.
The lotus, coptic cross and other symbols of ancient and today's Egypt provide the environment for participants to explore the importance of their own unexpected conversations. Registration at 12:30pm - visit together in Fellowhip Hall after the program.
