Hello, I'm searching for local resources interested in partnering with the Cape Area Family Resource Center, Success by Six and the Cape County Library. Your partnership is sought with the intention of giving your agency representative the opportunity to share the who/what/where information about your agency to the family's enrolled in our Tiny Toes snack-n-learn program. We are currently searching for presenters for the month of March and April.
Tiny Toes snack-n-learn is "free" programming open to any parent or caregiver of a child birth to six years old. The group meets every Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 am. The programming is designed to offer parenting education in an nontraditional manner, an adult support group for the caregivers of children, and a playgroup for the kids. All while educating the participants on their local area resources, supplying a snack and drink and the offer of "free" books. The programming is open to any parent or caregiver with children aged 0 to 6 yrs old. The first hour of Tiny Toes programming is offered by Success by Six and the Cape County Library. They are a steady every week. Then the second hour is used to bring in our community's resources. Each week a new community collaborating partner comes to share with our attendees the who/what/when of their organization.
If you are interested in scheduling a date for you to share with our group please feel welcome to call CAFRC at 334-8170. Or if you are interested in joining as a participant. We welcome your involvement.
THANK YOU,
Michelle Wallace
