The inauguration of Cape Central High School's new Tiger Stadium on September 2 wouldn't have been possible without the generosity and hard work of many benefactors and supporters, including Lloyd Ivy, CEO of MTX Audio, a leader in design, manufacturing and support of premier audio products for public address and background music systems. The first football game on Cape Central High School turf coincided with the school's 100-year Centennial. The crowd of over 4,000 fans was treated to a remarkable sound system featuring Atlas speakers and subwoofers. Assistant Superintendent of Cape Public Schools Neil Glass said, "Lloyd Ivy provided Tiger Stadium a sound system second to none. We are forever grateful for his generosity." The speaker system features 15-inch low frequency subwoofers mounted beneath the bleachers and horn speakers mounted on utility poles above the bleachers. MTX Audio employs over 800 people and has manufacturing facilities in Phoenix, AZ, Monroe, WI and Winslow, IL. A native of Marble Hill, MO, Ivy started his business at age 25. He maintains a logistics facility at Marble Hill.
