The Friends Donate $180,000 for Heart, Cancer Patients
On August 16, The Friends of Saint Francis Board of Directors presented Lisa Newcomer, cancer service line director, and David Stagner, cardiovascular service line director, with $180,208 raised at The Friends of Saint Francis Gala on March 4. The donation will go to Saint Francis Healthcare System’s CancerCare and Cardiac Care patient funds. The CancerCare fund helps cancer patients in need with nutritional supplements, medicine, transportation and lodging. The CardiacCare fund helps with cardiac rehabilitation and other necessary services and equipment for patients unable to afford them.
