Participants of all ages and skill levels can work on their tennis skills this summer with the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department. The instructor in all classes will provide a balance of instruction and practice. Emphasis will be on proper grip, stance, swing, serve and ball placement, as well as hitting with control for depth and power. The following class sessions are enrolling now. All classes meet at the Arena Park Tennis Courts.

Youth Tennis

6-12 years

$15 Resident, $20 Non-resident

June 4-20

Ages 6-8: Monday and Wednesday from 8- 8:50 a.m.

Ages 9-12: Monday and Wednesday from 9- 9:50 a.m.

Registration Deadline: May 31

June 25-July 11 (no class July 4)

Ages 6-8: Monday and Wednesday from 8 - 8:50 a.m.

Ages 9-12: Monday and Wednesday from 9 - 9:50 a.m.

Teen Tennis

13-15 years
