The seventh annual Spaghetti Day held Nov. 16 at the A. C. Brase Arena was a great success, raising approximately $13,000 for city parks and facilities improvements.
Over 2600 people were served during the one-day event, sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Foundation and Capaha Field Improvement Committee. Other sponsors and volunteers included Mobil, Schnucks, Southern Convenience Stores, Jerry Ford Orchestra, River Radio, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and Notre Dame Regional High School students.
