The SoutheastHEALTH 2016 Share Walk – a Walk for Remembrance and Hope, raised a record $13,375 to benefit the program dedicated to those who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn loss.
More than 160 people participated in the walk. Speaker was Josh Barrett, a bereaved father who shared his story and offered hope to those in similar situations.
At SoutheastHEALTH, the Share team consists of Obstetrics nurses and staff who help families through this difficult time by providing mementoes of their babies, counseling materials, burial supplies and grief support.
