A rosary rally was held in Oran on a lot across from the Guardian Angel Church on October 15. About 40-45 people were in attendance. The intention of the rosary was to pray for our country. The rally was in association with a group called "America Needs Fatima". The event was organized and the rosary led by Julie Senciboy. Connie McAnelly, Shirley Hahn, and Rose Pobst also helped by leading the litany of the saints, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and other prayers. Ethan Pobst led the group in song.
Over 16,000 rosary rallies were held this year across our nation. The rallies have been done annually since 2007 and are to occur on the Saturday nearest October 13. The 99th anniversary of the miracle of the sun at Fatima was on October 13, 2016. The rosary should be recited in a public place, where everyone can see it happening, and should also start at noon, when the miracle of the sun began.
