Pops to join Jackson Church for Gospel Concert

The Heartland Pops Chorus will join the Immaculate Conception Choir, Bells of Joy Ringers, and Choristers for their spring concert, "Another Old Time Gospel Hour" to be held at the church on Hope Street in Jackson on Sunday,May 15, at 2:00P.M.

Special guests will be Abbey Road Church's folk group "Barefoot On Sunday". This group is well known in the area for their appearances as well as for numerous performances on KRCU radio. They last appeared with the Pops during last year's Homecomers Celebration in Jackson. Be prepared for an afternoon of hand clapping, foot-stomping gospel music in a Catholic Church.
