Plaza by Ray's Open for Daytime Events

The Plaza by Ray's, conveniently located in Cape Girardeau at William and I-55, is now open for daytime events and has appointed Nicolette Husk to fill the newly created position of Event Coordinator. While many businesses and individuals have used the Plaza Conference Center for large evening events, the expansion of daytime availability is a new development.

"Nicolette has worked at Ray's of Kelso for several years, and many people in the area know and recognize her. She is detail oriented and very enjoyable to work with. I think she will be a great asset to us in this new position and to people booking events," explains owner Ray Ressel. "We have been approached numerous times about opening during the day, because people are always so happy with the customized service we provide at night, so it was a logical next step. Our adjustable space and full menu of catering options will still give our clients the flexibility to tailor an event specific to their needs."

The Plaza by Ray's offers flexible room rental for groups as small as 25 or as large as 750. Ressel states, "We can customize the space for business luncheons, brainstorming sessions with breakout rooms, club meetings, departmental retreats, whatever anyone needs. Our proximity to hotels and restaurants is ideal for groups planning overnight stays who don't want to be cooped up in the same space all day."
