The Perryville Elementary School Relay For Life team presented a check for $10,300 to the American Cancer Society at the Perry County Relay For Life. The team plans and fundraises throughout the year to help fight the battle against all forms of cancer. Pictured are the PES Relay For Life Committee members (from left) Pam Wood, Gina Martin, Denise Wortmann and Barb Derickson. Pam also served as co-chair of the 2015 event. "To say I'm proud of my the efforts of this committee, and all of the staff members who supported bake sales and spirit days, is a understatement," said Mr. Scott Ireland, superintendent of District 32. "This is just one of the many ways that District 32 staff is giving back to our community. It's truly great to be a Perryville Pirate!
