What do you see as the county commission's role in economic development in Perry County?

I believe we as a county can work together and save money where need, and to service the people with the needs of this county. I would like to use the least amount of money to benifit the most amount of people.

What are the major challenges facing Perry County?

The Recycling Center is in financial trouble and because of the hardship it has minimized operations. I would also like to focus on older paved roads for fear that the maintance will be server and costly to control years to come. Some of our other buildings are also in trouble of needing restore such as the sherif's department.

What in your background or education makes you qualified to be Perry County commissioner?

I have been a resident of Perry County all my life, I have worked with Perry County Road and Bridge for over 4 years. My grandfather Virgil McGraw was Commisioner in bollinger county in the 1950s-1960s and operated a road grader, My Dad Ken McGraw Sr . also operated a road grader in the 1970s for Perry County Road and Bridge. With that being said, I believe I am more than enough qualified.

Closing remarks

I believe as commissioner you have to really love your community and do what's best to benifit the majority. Following Pat Heaps is going to be some big shoes to fill, he has done an exceptionally good job. I only hope who gets elected in in and does get the honor of being the dist.1 commissioner loves this county as much as I do and does the best for everyone in it.
