Six Students from Oak Ridge High School Band have qualified at the District Music Festival in Cape for the State Festival on April 28th at Mizzou. The following from L to R are: McKenzie Elam, Jordyn Aden, Joey Jaster, Marissa Schamburg, Grace Fox, and Taylor Bock. This is the third year for a percussion ensemble to qualify- Jordyn Aden had been in all 3 ensembles- and Taylor Bock has qualified on both mallets and piano. Mrs. Judy Sharp is their instructor, and Mrs. Jean Schweain is the piano teacher for Taylor Bock. The Oak Ridge High School Band got a 3 on there over all performance at the District Music Festival.
