New Salem United Methodist Women

New Salem United Methodist Women met May 2 at the church with 10 members present.

Joyce Brewer, president, call the meeting to order with all repeating the UMW Purpose.

There were six sick and shut-in calls made for the month of April.

We hosted the District Meeting April 9, with 55 UMW members from the district present.

Karen McLane presented the program, "Mothers Day Giving - Purity of Heart".

Ms. Brewer reported on "Climate Justice" taken from the Response Magazine.

For the 2016 Festival of Sharing we will be collecting and donating to the Missouri Student Dental Packets.

For the year 2017, we will participate in the MO. Family Food Boxes.

Our June 6 meeting will be our birthday celebration luncheon at Gordonville Grill.
