Eyes filled with wonder, excitement and love for trains fill the air everywhere-from car windows to street corners nearby...these are the thoughts of boys and girls near and far when a train rolls into town.

You see, I have a special request from my fellow Cape Girardeau countians..I have two sons, one who is little, 7 years, and one, not so little, 15 years, who have a huge life-long love of trains. It is my heartfelt goal right now to stand next to them as they watch with happiness and smiles as a Union Pacific steam engine comes rolling into Cape Girardeau. I do not want to make this a story about me, for this is about a love of trains and the children who love them. I have recently been diagnosed with esophageal cancer at the age of 37. This has been a huge shock to my family, as I have lost a brother and a sister to other types of cancer. I am going through chemotherapy now and losing my hair; the two things that mean the most to me in this world are my FAITH and my CHILDREN.

I want to give my children and other children the delight of seeing this steam locomotive pull into town. Will you please help me make this a reality by voting at the website below every day? Right now we are 2,000 votes behind the leader.

www.upexcursion.com is the website and you need to register your email. You can register more than one email address. I do not work for this company, do not know anyone who works for this company; I just want to give my sons and other children alike this wonderful opportunity. Won't you join me in doing what I can? Thank you and God Bless Cape Girardeau!
