Megan Hawk, 11, bags her 2nd deer on Youth Hunting Weekend

This is the second year that Megan has gone deer hunting with her father, Jason Hawk. She and her cousin, Logan Lewis were both trained in gun safety and shooting by their grandfather, Jack Hawk and Meg's Dad, Jason. All four went hunting early Saturday morning during the Youth Weekend Hunt. Meg and Logan both shot a deer. Logan got his that morning. Meg and her father returned that afternoon at which time, Megan shot her deer.

The cousins, Meg and Logan, live next door to each other and have always been very competitive. Their grandmother, Jeff Hawk, is very thankful that they both got a deer and that they were both very close in size to keep peace between the two.
