McDonald's of Marble Hill sponsored at Junior Acheivement Night in December where McDonald's donated 25% of all proceeds between 4-8pm to The Junior Acheivement Program for the Marble Hill area. Junior Acheivement provides FREE economic education to Woodland Schools. Over 600 students in Marble Hill benefit from the Junior Acheivement programs that provide lessons such as: budgeting, balancing a check book, credit vs. cash, how to be a manager, voting, taxes, being a good citizen,net vs. gross incomes and much, much more. Accepting the check on behalf of The Junior Acheivement Club was Merideth Pobst, District Manager of Junior Acheivement of Southeast Missouri; and presenting the check on behalf of McDonalds was Cheryl Farrow.
