On February 22, 2014 St. Mary Cathedral Home and School Association will put on it's 24th annual dinner auction, celebrating "Mardi Gras"! Doors open at 4:30 PM, and the night includes dinner with a Cajun accent catered from Ray's of Kelso, King Cakes, beverages of choice as well as both Silent and Oral auctions. Listen to wonderful N'Orleans jazz from St. Louis band Fanfair ! Cash bar is open all night. After the auction there's "Bourbon Street after Hours" with continued celebrations including a dance. All will be held this year at Ray's Conference Center in Cape Girardeau. Tickets are $30. After party tickets and alcoholic beverages are available for additional fees.
Our special raffle this year is "Lotsa Cash", and is a progressive raffle that has been ongoing since September. Each raffle ticket holder has a chance to win the Grand Prize of $10,000, to be awarded at the auction itself. Each Sunday however for 15 consecutive weeks before the auction lucky winners receive $100 cash prizes, and five winners receive $500 cash prizes. Second prize to be drawn the night at the auction is $1000. Any winner along the way has/ has had his or her name put back in the barrel and could be drawn multiple times throughout the raffle. The strategy then is to buy early and buy frequently! Tickets are available locally in Cape Girardeau at Knaup Floral, Guys Big and Tall, through any school family or can be bought at the St. Mary School office by calling 335 -3840. Please join us for fun and merriment as we raise money for St Mary Cathedral Home and School!
