Maria Bleckler donated her hair to Locks of Love for the 2nd time. At the age of six she decided that her hair would help to keep a little girl's neck warm this winter. Maria is in kindergarten at St. Vincent de Paul School and is the daughter of David and Cyndi Bleckler of Jackson. She even tried (unsuccessfully) to convince her brother, Zachary to grow his hair out to donate to the worthy cause. Maria's haircut was provided by Danetta Clemons at Salon Brielle and Spa in Cape Girardeau. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
