Local Cape Girardeau County citizens concerned about the future of our nation will have their first 2010 planning meetings in Jackson. This group is comprised of volunteers who put together last year's Tea Party events in April and July, as well as those otherwise interested.

They will meet at 1:00 p.m. and later at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5. The meetings will be held at the Jackson Public Library at Jackson City Hall. Go in the library entrance and take the elevator to the third floor.

All are invited to attend either or both meetings.

The purpose of the meeting is to brainstorm activities volunteers may want to initiate and/or participate in. Members of the Constitution Party will also be present.
