Worldwide-based accounting firm, RGL Forensics, an international forensic accounting, investigation and consulting firm, today announced that it was named one of the fastest growing firms in the nation by Accounting Today.
From 2009 to 2010, as the economic downturn was taking its toll on businesses across the country, RGL achieved more than a 10 percent increase in revenue and was listed as the eleventh fastest growing accounting firm in the U.S. by national publication, Accounting Today.
"Growth in accounting is dependent on changing with the market," said RGL Forensics Chief Financial Officer and Administrative Officer, Angie MacPhee. "This year, we launched a strategic Business Valuation and Transaction Advisory Services Division, which perfectly correlated with the rising trend in the need for these services in 2011 (according to the Top 100 Firms article in Accounting Today)."
In addition to being named one of the fastest growing firms, RGL was also listed as one of Accounting Today's Top 100 Firms of 2011. RGL is the only forensic accounting and consulting company listed company with a single area focus other than taxes, accounting and auditing. RGL was on the list last year as well, moving up to position 74 this year, from position 81 on last year's list.
All lists, as well as an analysis of the state of the accounting industry, can be found in the March 2011 edition of Accounting Today.
