Join The Friends of Saint Francis on March 1 to learn about an exclusive tour of southern Italy and Sicily at a special price. The 12-day tour departs September 29 and will visit Sicily, Taranto, the Amalfi Coast and Rome.
Travelers will experience beautiful scenery and historic cities, along with wonderful cuisine and regional wine with every dinner. While in Sicily, guests will spend a day exploring the historic hilltop town of Taormina, and they will enjoy plenty of leisure time during a two-night stay on the Amalfi Coast, one of the most breathtaking areas of Italy.
While there, travelers will visit a local cheese producer to learn secretes of making mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. They will investigate the culture of ancient Greece with a guided tour of Agrigento's Valley of the Temples and travel to the ancient town of Sassi di Matera, known for its modern and ancient cave dwellings. So much is in store!
