Living with my home nestled in the woods I see many different critters on a daily basis.

This is one of the many different spiders that have taken up residence on my deck this spring.

Although the spots on him/her look white in the photos, it actually looks almost blue to the naked eye.

There are a pair of them living between two stacked chairs on my deck. I assume they are a male and female. They look identical.

You can see in the photo that they eat bugs larger than themselves. I was lucky enough to catch this guy snagging supper from the web. He didn't want to share with me:-(

I have seen many varieties of spiders here and been able to identify most. This one I have not been able to verify. I have looked all over the web and have not been able to locate a photo of anything that looks like this pair.

If you know what kind of spider this is drop me a comment. I would love to know.
