A Grassroots Lobbying Workshop is being held at the Cape Public Library on August 22, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm. Ryan Johnson, with Missouri Alliance for Freedom, is presenting the workshop. You will get an up close look at how a bill really becomes law, how a bill is killed, and how to navigate the House and the Senate. Presenters are Legislative Assistants and Chiefs of Staff for currently serving representatives, so they are very knowledgeable. This workshop is very interesting and informative, plus you will get a free lunch! Please come and learn how "we the people" can actually control our instituted government. The way it was meant to be.
