The national Grandparent's Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday in September. At Guardian Angel School in Oran, the students celebrated with their grandparents &/or their special someone on Thursday, September 13. The special day began with Mass at Guardian Angel Church, where it was the Fourth grade students turn to participate in the Mass parts. Following Mass, everyone came to the school gym to enjoy special times together along with cookies, milk, and coffee. The gym was filled with laughter and lots of conversation. The grandparents were as excited to visit with the students, as the children were to see their grandparents at school.
