Grandparents are pretty special people and we even have a day to celebrate them. Grandparent's Day was Sunday, September 11. Guardian Angel School in Oran celebrated our students' grandparents on Tuesday, September 13. The grandparents were invited to join the school children for Mass and then come to the cafeteria for cookies, milk and coffee. There was a full room of grandparents waiting for their grandchildren to come down and join them. We believe this was the biggest crowd we ever had. Lots of chatter was heard and smiles were seen as the grandparents and grandchildren hugged each other, ate cookies together, and shared precious time together. Many pictures were taken by them and by school staff. There was even a sign in front of school for a photo opportunity for the grandparents and their grandchildren. We can learn a lot from our grandparents and should spend time with them often. Here's to another successful Grandparents Day at Guardian Angel School in Oran Mo!
